We all pay taxes, and some of those taxes are earmarked for the most vulnerable among us—our kids. When a family has a child with special needs, costs may be way beyond the scope of one family’s ability to pay. We shouldn’t be embarrassed to do the hard work of finding and applying for the help our children need.”
